Paul Barber

Paul is CEO of the Vancouver Whitecaps FC; a 2011 MLS expansion team.  Paul’s move to North America follows five years as Executive Director of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, where he was responsible for the English Premier League Club's commercial partnership programme, sponsorship, broadcast and new media rights, marketing, ticketing and membership, retail operations, customer relations, sales and operations.  Prior to joining Tottenham Hotspur, Paul was previously Commercial Director and, latterly, Marketing & Communications Director at The Football Association (The FA).

KIRSTEN CORIO - SENIOR DIRECTOR, TEAM MARKETING AND BUSINESS OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT, NBA

Kirsten is Senior Director of Team Business Development in the NBA’s Team Marketing and Business Operations Department (TMBO).  In this role, she works with all 30 NBA teams, as well as the WNBA and Development League teams, to provide management consulting services on all business and revenue generating initiatives, most specifically direct and digital marketing, individual game ticket sales, ticketing, and digital sponsorship sales. Prior to her work in the Team Marketing & Business Operations Department, Kirsten served as the NBA’s Senior Manager - CRM.

Pedro Duarte is Real Madrid’s Global Mobile Marketing Manager. In this role, he is responsible for the creation and worldwide distribution of mobile content to Real Madrid's mobile community. Pedro was appointed to lead the club's newly created mobile marketing/New Media department and to ensure that Real Madrid is "the first Club in the world to propel their fan base into the digital space as an interactive community of club supporters.

Eric Fernandez

Eric oversees the sports and entertainment practice of Media Link; a Los Angeles and New York City based strategic advisory and business development firm with a focus on digital and social media.  Prior to joining Media Link Eric spent 14 years with AT&T in various marketing and advertising positions.  Eric spent the last 6 years as AT&T’s Executive Director of Sponsorships and Events. Partnerships led by Eric included the US Olympic Committee, The Masters, NCAA, Williams Formula One, PGA Tour and numerous MLB, NFL, NBA and NCAA team properties and Music and Entertainment partnerships.

Within regards digital sport marketing circles, the Portland Trailblazers are generally regarded the most innovative of the 32 NBA teams and amongst the leading teams across all four Major Leagues (MFL. NBA, NHL and Major League Baseball). The Trailblazer’s Web 2.0 website iamatrailblazersfan.com has over 28,000 registered visitors. The iamatrailblazersfan.com website has just been nominated for a SXSW Interactive Web Award in the category of Community. Much of this ground breaking effort is due to Dan Harbison, the Trailblazers’ Director of Interactive Marketing & Media.

Ted Johnson

Ted Johnson is in his seventh season with, serving as the senior vice president of marketing and communications and chief marketing officer.  Ted oversees the strategic development and operations of marketing, public relations, community relations, publications, creative services, information technology, interactive services, database marketing for the Minnesota Timberwolves & Lynx and the FastBreak Foundation.  Additionally, Johnson directs the broadcast department and oversees the radio and television broadcasts.

Prior to his joining the Wolves, Johnson spent more than a decade in PR managing dynamic, multifaceted campaigns for clients, policy issues and political candidates.

Immediately prior to establishing Major Events International, Dennis was the London 2012 Account Director for Atos Origin, the International Olympic Committee World-Wide IT partner.

As the Executive Director of the IT Division for the ALSD, Christine develops and hosts their annual SPORT & ENTERTAINMENT ALLIANCE IN TECHNOLOGY conference. The Association of Luxury Suite Directors (ALSD) was founded in 1990 with the express mission of providing accurate and timely information about the premium seat market in stadiums and arenas in North America. At Major League Baseball’s Arizona Diamondbacks, Christine oversaw all information technology operations for the Diamondbacks, Chase Field and the Diamondbacks’ spring training facility. At NHL’s Phoenix Coyotes, Christine oversaw all technology for the Phoenix Coyotes, Arizona Sting lacrosse team and Jobing.com Arena.
